Summer Stage: Explore Theatre

Explore Theatre  |  July 9-13, 9am-3pm*

> Play’s the Thing (Ages 5-7): This class focuses on creative play as a way for your youngest campers to begin to explore theatre. Activities include any creative exploration: games, art, music, dance, group storytelling, puppetry, etc.

> Around the World(s) (Ages 8-10): Students explore settings - factual, imaginary, past, present, future - and put together a show with a story informed by its setting.

> Who Are You? (Ages 11-13): Students explore types of characters to understand the roles played by each, then create a show based on their exploration.

> Theatre Time Machine (Ages 14-17): Students explore various theatre forms used throughout history (i.e. Greek drama, kabuki, Elizabethan, vaudeville, etc.) and create their own show using what they learned.
