Now in it's third year, this residency for the only youth symphony in the greater Wenatchee region has demonstrated a direct and significant impact in the arts education of approximately 60-100 NCW students, annually.  Recruitment and cross-community programs, especially those designed to reach under-represented musical/cultural groups, have also increased as a result of ICYS's ability to perform at the centrally-located PAC.  The residency helps the Symphony to produce consistently high-quiality concerts each semester.  It provides students with an acoustically superior sound space in which to regularly rehearse and perform.  Have a listen for yourself.
